Jones, M.D., MBA, FACS, is a graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and completed medical school and otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, training from the University of Michigan. He completed a facial plastic and craniofacial reconstructive surgery fellowship at SUNY UpState Medical University and an MBA from Michigan State University. Dr. Jones, Vice Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at Henry Ford Hospital, is an expert on the treatment and pathogenesis of keloids. His other clinical interests include craniofacial reconstruction, trauma and cosmetics. He currently has a 5-year, $900,000 grant from the National Institute of Health to study exosome signaling in the keloid microenvironment. Jones lectures internationally and has published multiple journal articles and book chapters. He is a student mentor and volunteers time at local and international charities. His medical mission trips to Kenya have been featured in the Detroit Free Press, Detroit Hour Magazine and an Emmy award winning special, \u201cCare and Hope, Proud Detroit Exports\u201d, on Detroit WDIV Channel 4.
